About
I am a Policy Analyst in the Heat Innovation Hub at the Nicholas Institute for Energy, Environment, and Sustainability.
My previous research examined the interplay between humans, the environment, and economic systems within the context of climate change and conservation. My current work centers on quantifying the economic impacts of extreme heat. I am particularly interested in the economics of natural disaster response, climate resilience, and the social and institutional barriers that impede effective environmental policy implementation.
My CV is here. I can be reached at peri.brimley@duke.edu.
Please feel free to contact me regarding my research, data, or any other inquiries. I love connecting with other researchers (of all disciplines!) and welcome the opportunity to chat.
